Tools: analyze_chord resolve_chord generate_voicing reharmonize
analyze_chord | Parse a chord into root, quality, intervals, and (with a key) roman numeral + function. Numerals use the jazz convention by default (Cmaj7 in Am = ♭IIIΔ7); both jazz and classical numerals are always returned in `numerals`, and other valid readings in `alternatives`. Pass `scale` to read a minor key as harmonic or melodic minor. params: chord*, key, scale, convention |
resolve_chord | Resolve a chord to spelled notes, frequencies, MIDI, and recommended scales. params: chord* |
generate_voicing | Instrument-ready voicing in a style; pass previousNotes for a voice-leading score. params: chord*, style, octave, previousNotes, keyContext |
reharmonize | Reharmonize a progression. Techniques: tritone_sub, ii_v_insertion, modal_interchange, diminished_passing, secondary_dominant, chain_of_dominants, coltrane_changes, backdoor (or auto). params: progression*, technique, key |
Entries describe changes in tool definitions. They are not statements about a server, its quality or its author. The grade measures how the tool definitions fit model providers (token cost, schema compatibility, confusable names) as scored by the ToolFit engine at the time of the listing. JSON: append .json.
